RESPONSE TO EMOTIONAL
The first studies on emotional responses to music dates back to 1936, when the psychologist and musicologist Kate Heiner showed that there are two essential elements that our brain uses to process an emotional response to music: SO, that is the key (major / minor), and time, that the execution speed (fast / slow). It is thus noted that the combination of mode and time the man gets the emotions that can be universally defined. The key to understanding is as follows: the major mode / slow time to a greater peace of mind = / = fun fast time, euphoria, exaltation Mode minor / slow time = Sadness, melancholy minor mode / fast tempo = fear, drama, angst
